About the author

Pediatric neurologist and author of books on child neurodevelopment.

I have been seeing children and families for years, and I write about what the consulting room teaches: a diagnosis rarely arrives ready-made, and the path to it is built of observation, listening and time.

My books were born from the questions that repeat in appointments — about early signs, about autism that goes unnoticed in girls, about what to do after the report, and about the cases that meet no criteria at all.

Writing is an extension of clinical care: turning technical knowledge into something a family can actually use on a Monday morning.

What guides my work

  • — Science explained without unnecessary jargon.
  • — Respect for the singularity of every child and every family.
  • — No promises of cure, no shortcuts: honest information.
